PE Activities for Children
At PH Sports we have been busily working away to create fun PE activities for children to enjoy at home.
The impact of COVID-19 on the nation and the closure of our schools prompted us to act! Government guidance is for children to complete 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity per day. We normally teach PE in primary schools and wanted to continue supporting children in staying active. Our mini lessons have been created with this in mind and provide around 30 minutes of activity that can be tailored to your little one(s). We know a well known individual will be doing 30 minutes of HIIT style physical activity each day, (Mr. Motivator is also coming back!) so between the two we should be smashing our 60 minutes. We have split the activities into younger and older activities, however there is no reason that you couldn’t do all 10 in a week!
Every week we will be uploading 5 EYFS & KS1 activities and 5 KS2 activities. We will be supporting this with some well-being content assisted by our paediatric clinical psychologist friend! Our content will be uploaded and shared for free on a weekly basis while schools are closed. So please sign up, keep coming back for new content and feel free to share with friends and family.
We will also be hosting a weekly challenge on our Facebook page, get over there, watch the latest challenge, have a go, film it, upload it and tag us!
If you have any feedback, would like to see something specific contact us at PH Sports, let us know and we will see what we can do! Alternatively, you can always contact us through our Facebook page.
